ORSC CONSULTANT REPORTS OP&F IS IN FIRST PERCENTILE AMONG PEER PENSION FUNDS
According to a report from RVK, the consultant for the Ohio Retirement Study Council, the Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund’s investment portfolio was in the first percentile for performance during the 2025 calendar year compared to peer public plans. Additionally, the report shows that OP&F’s 2025 investment returns were the best among Ohio’s five public pension systems.
The gross return of 18.52% for the year ranked in the first percentile of the peer rankings from the RVK report. OP&F also was in the top percentile for returns in the fourth quarter of 2025, with a gross return of 3.26%.
The performance of OP&F’s allocations to gold, international equity, commodities and U.S. equity led the way to achieving these results. As of April 30, OP&F’s portfolio was valued at $22.2 billion.
